Working with Nokia to understand mobile music consumption
Nokia's long running research workstream has enabled us to employ a wide variety of research techniques to gain rich insights into the use of music on mobile devices.
A detailed exploration
In our detailed exploration of existing and potential customers' needs and desires, we have used
a number of structured, unstructured and non-interventionist research techniques, both in the UK and US.
All this research has resulted in a rich library of insights which we have helped Nokia develop into customer personas.
The customer up close
We have always taken a particularly collaborative approach when working with Nokia, both when designing and planning research studies and also inviting them to participate where appropriate, for example meeting customers at workshop events.
This has helped deepen their understanding of their youthful and dynamic customers.
Outcomes
This research work stream continues to help Nokia understand the key gaps,
opportunities and unmet customer needs in the consumption of music on
mobile devices.
